Caroline Leavitt Became The First Pregnant White House Press Secretary In U.S. History
Caroline Levitt

She will remain in office.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt has revealed that she is preparing to become a mom for the second time. She shared the happy news on Instagram.

The 28-year-old White House press secretary is expecting her second child with her 60-year-old husband Nicholas Riccio. The real estate entrepreneur is 32 years older than Levitt. Levitt posted a photo of herself posing in front of a Christmas tree in a white sweater dress, holding her stomach.

Levitt has already declassified the gender of the baby-to-be. "The best Christmas present we could have ever dreamed of is a baby girl to be born in May 2026. My husband and I are thrilled that our family will be bigger and look forward to our son becoming a big brother. My heart is overflowing with gratitude to God for the blessing of motherhood, which I truly believe is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth. I am so grateful to President Trump and our Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for their support and for creating a family-friendly atmosphere in the White House. 2026 is going to be a wonderful year and I am so excited to be a mom to a baby girl," Caroline Leavitt wrote.

Leavitt and her husband are already parents to 18-month-old son Nico. A senior White House official told Fox News that Leavitt will stay on as press secretary, making her the first pregnant White House press secretary in history.
