A Major Belarusian Medical Center Suspended Operations

Medical center "Alfamed" suspended its work in Belarus. Information about this appeared on the official the medical center's website.

"Dear patients, we inform you about the temporary suspension of the license for medical services. Information about the resumption of activity will be posted on the official website of the enterprise," - stated in the message on the official website.

As told to Office Life in the contact center "Alfamed", so far the terms of resumption of work are unknown. Pre-registration of patients is also not made.

"Alfamed" has been working in Minsk for more than 20 years. It has three medical centers, located in the city center on Independence Avenue, as well as Surganov and Kuzma Chorny streets.

The problems with the license of Belarusian medical centers usually arise after inspections by the Ministry of Health. However, the result varies. For example, in 2022, the department suspended the activities of "Lode", which continues to operate. But Novoye Sight lost its license the following year.
