Zelensky: The Most Active Diplomatic Days Have Begun For Ukraine

Ukraine's president allowed for changes for New Year's Eve before meeting with Trump.

Now are some of the "most diplomatic days of the year" for Ukraine, and much "may be decided by the New Year," Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said in his Telegram channel.

"Now are some of the most active diplomatic days of the year, and much may be decided by the New Year. And we are doing everything for this, but whether there will be decisions - depends on partners," he wrote.

On the eve of a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on December 28, Zelensky noted that it is important for Ukraine now that "sanctions against Russia work," deliveries of missiles for Ukrainian air defense systems and that all necessary actions were brought to a peaceful resolution of the conflict. This is what will be discussed at the meeting with the US president, the Ukrainian leader added.
