Ukraine's president denied the accusation.

Yuri Ushakov, an aide to Russia's dictator Vladimir Putin, has commented on the latest phone conversation between his boss and US President Donald Trump. According to him, Putin during it convinced his American counterpart of the Ukrainians' alleged perfidy.

According to Ushakov, Putin during the phone conversation drew Trump's attention to the fact that "immediately after the talks" in Florida, Ukraine allegedly tried to attack the Russian president's residence:

"The US president was shocked by this message, literally outraged, said that he could not even think of such crazy actions."

Ushakov also quoted the U.S. president as allegedly saying that the U.S. administration, "thank God, did not give 'tomahawks' to Kiev," and promised to change "American approaches in working with Zelensky."

Putin, according to Ushakov, said Russia would now reconsider its position and that some agreements between Trump and Zelensky allegedly left Ukraine "a field for interpretation" to evade its commitments.

The alleged attempted overnight attack by 191 drones on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region was first reported by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. At the same time, his data on the number of drones clearly contradicted the information given by the Russian Defense Ministry in the morning. The Ukrainian president immediately refuted Lavrov's claims, saying that with this statement the Russians were "simply preparing the ground to strike the [Ukrainian] capital and state buildings."

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky denied misinformation about the alleged attack of 191 Ukrainian drones on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region and accused Russia of lying, Suspilne wrote. He linked the emergence of these accusations to his successful negotiations with US President Donald Trump in Mar-a-Lago.

In Zelensky's opinion, Moscow is trying to create an information background for escalation, as the progress in relations between Ukraine and the US is a "failure for the Russians."

"The Russians do not want to end this war. With their statement that a certain residence was attacked, they are simply preparing the ground to strike the [Ukrainian] capital and state buildings," the head of state emphasized.

Zelensky recalled the missile attack on the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers building in September and urged Ukrainians to be as alert as possible in the near future.
