Lukashenko's friend has seriously stepped up personal security measures due to US pressure.
Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro does not sleep in one place and often changes his phones because of pressure from the United States. Citing sources, The New York Times reported this.
"Sources said Maduro has tried to protect himself from a potential pinpoint attack or special forces raid by frequently changing his sleeping places and cell phones. These precautions have intensified since September," the paper said.
The paper's sources reported an atmosphere of "tension and concern" that has gripped the Venezuelan dictator's inner circle amid talks with the US about toppling Maduro.
