Zelensky Answered What He Would Talk To Putin About In Person
Vladimir Zelensky

The Ukrainian president emphasized that he did not trust the Russian dictator.

In the event of a possible conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky would raise the issue of territories and the causes of the war.

The Ukrainian leader said this in an interview with Fox News.

Answering a question about what he would talk to Putin about, Zelensky noted that he had already raised the topic in a conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.

"I think it's important. And spoke to President Trump about it. The question of territories, the question of the reasons for this war, why he is occupying us," the head of Ukraine noted.

The Ukrainian president emphasized that he has no desire to talk to Putin because he considers him an enemy, but allows such a conversation for security reasons.

"I think it would be useful to talk to him (Putin), not because I want to. I don't want to talk to him. He's an enemy to me. But I think it's important to talk to him for one reason only - we must understand, we don't want a third world war from Russia," Zelensky said.

At the same time, the Ukrainian president noted a complete lack of trust between the parties.

"I don't trust him and I won't. And he doesn't trust me, it's clear. And that's the problem," he added.

In addition, Zelensky said he was convinced: the Russian dictator's real goal was the complete occupation of Ukraine.

"I think his goal was to occupy our entire territory, our entire country. And I really want to hear and see that he will not come again," the Ukrainian president summarized.
