Drone Hits Administrative Skyscraper Near Kadyrov's Residence In Grozny

The building houses the Chechen Security Council, the Accounts Chamber and the Election Commission.

There was an explosion in the Grozny-City high-rise building in the Chechen capital due to a hit by a Ukrainian drone, UNIAN reports.

Russian blogs reported this. They circulated images showing a damaged multi-story office building in the Grozny-City complex. According to the Astra Telegram channel, the building houses the Chechen Security Council, the Accounts Chamber and the Election Commission.

"The tower hit by the drone is located 800 meters from the residence of Ramzan Kadyrov and houses the offices of several authorities," Russian Telegram channels wrote.

In particular, the pictures show damaged glazing of an entire section of the building on several floors.

Data about the strike is also published by Chechen opposition channels. However, the Chechen authorities have not reported any strikes.

The airport of Grozny, as well as the airports of Beslan and Magas, are closed due to the danger of drone attacks.
