Waiting for the U.S. to react.
The Kremlin is currently awaiting a reaction from its US counterparts following Tuesday's discussion between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Presidential Special Envoy Steven Whitkoff. This was reported by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, TASS writes.
"We are now waiting for the reaction of our American colleagues to the discussion we had on Tuesday this week," Ushakov noted.
He also added that a phone conversation with Trump is not yet on Putin's schedule, but it can be easily organized if necessary.
Ushakov assured that as soon as there are prerequisites for contact, everything will be organized quite quickly.
According to TASS, the date of the new meeting with Whitkoff has not been set.
We recall that the Ukrainian delegation, headed by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, met with US Special Representative Steve Whitkoff and US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner in Miami on November 30.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the most difficult was the clause on territories in the peace plan - it was discussed for 6.5 hours.
On December 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner in the Kremlin.
According to statements by officials, no significant agreements on ending the war in Ukraine were reached after five hours of talks in the Kremlin.
