GUR Cybercorps "put Down" Russia's Leading Logistics Company

Russians were congratulated on the Day of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

On the night of December 6, specialists of the Defense Ministry's GUR together with BO Team carried out a cyber strike on the information and communication infrastructure of the Eltrans+ group of companies.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to its own sources.

The attack deactivated more than 700 computers and servers, deleted more than a thousand company users, and destroyed or encrypted 165 terabytes of critical data.

In addition, access control, video surveillance, data storage and backup systems were affected, network equipment was deactivated and disabled along with the core of the data center, all cargo manifests were destroyed, and all company websites were defaced, which now congratulate Russian users on the Day of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Eltrans+ is among the top 10 largest customs representatives and forwarders in Russia. Eltrans+ services are used by more than 5000 Russian companies of small, medium and large businesses.

The company provides international and domestic transportation (road, sea, air, multimodal), warehousing, transportation of assembled cargoes, as well as full customs clearance of goods.

Eltrans+ is also engaged in the delivery of under-sanctioned goods, as well as various electronic components from China, which are used by the Russian military-industrial complex.
