Lukashenka Sued In Ukraine

A large sum is demanded from him.

A lawsuit has been filed in Ukraine against Aliaksandr Lukashenka. Russia, Vladimir Putin, Belarus, Iran and North Korea are also named as defendants in the subsidiary lawsuit. The public organization “DrukArmiya” demands that they compensate for moral damage caused to Ukrainian citizens as a result of full-scale Russian aggression, Radio Svaboda reports.

The author of the lawsuit asks to include the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the governments of the USA, Great Britain, France, China, the UN, the European Commission, as well as the American technology company Alphabet Inc and ICANN — the Corporation for Assigned Names as third parties.

The lawsuit from Russia, Belarus, Iran and North Korea demands that Ukrainians be paid 1.9 decillion hryvnia (a figure with 37 characters). However, the calculations on the basis of which this amount of compensation was determined are not provided in the lawsuit.

The court suggested that the plaintiff correct the errors and pay an additional court fee. It depends on the size of the claim and is 1.5% of the total amount of the claim or no less than one subsistence minimum and no more than 350 subsistence minimums for able-bodied people.
