Protest In Warsaw Demands Freedom For Belarusian Women Political Prisoners

They are tortured in Lukashenka's prisons.

A traditional Sunday rally of solidarity with Belarus was held in Warsaw. Protesters held banners demanding the release of female political prisoners. Also Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk, a released political prisoner and coordinator of the European Belarus Civil Campaign, spoke about torture against them.

Protesters recalled the fates of Volha Mayorava, Alena Hnauk, Viktoryia Kulsha, Tatsiana Kaneuskaia, also Alena Lazarchyk and Liubou Rezanovich.

There was also a banner in memory of political prisoner Ihar Lednik, who died in a Belarusian prison.
