Forbes: Soon Putin's Army To Be Fighting Riding Hoverboards Instead Of Donkeys

There are more and more signs of accelerating demechanisation.

The other day footage of Russian occupiers and donkeys, which they jokingly called their new transport, appeared on the web. Russia does have problems with armoured vehicles, but this does not mean that soldiers will ride donkeys into battle. A more likely option - hoverboards, informs Forbes.

However, this also does not mean that the enemy is going to resort to radical measures, such as the use of donkeys and horses in battles.

It is possible that the Russian military simply steal animals from the civilian population of Ukraine. Also, the enemy may be using animals for their experiments, throwing them into battle against the AFU.

Now Putin's army has to go into battle on foot, and some soldiers are even sent into the attack on crutches. The Russian military can only occasionally count on such a ‘privilege’ as being transported to the front line in armoured vehicles.

Meanwhile, Russian logisticians are also experiencing a shortage of vehicles and are switching to supplying combat formations using donkeys.

Horses are increasingly appearing on the Russian side of the front line. It is worth noting that the U.S. Army also used donkeys as road transport during the war in Afghanistan. Moreover, the Marines sometimes used them in combat operations.

However, unlike the US, the Russian military doesn't just use donkeys for cross-country travel, which is logical for pack animals, no, it uses the animals extensively, and this is a clear sign of the accelerating demechanisation of the Russian army as its costly war in Ukraine continues for the fourth year.

A hoverboard is a fictional device resembling a skateboard that has two anti-gravity motors instead of wheels. It can hover at a height of about 7cm above the ground. It appears in the ‘Back to the Future’ film.
