Massive Redeployment Of Military Trains Recorded In Belarus

What's going on?

The Belarusian Railway Workers' Community is recording a large-scale redeployment of military trains.

"This is far from what happened in 2022 in terms of scale. But for Belarus, this is a large-scale redeployment: we are talking about 16 trains, each with 2-3 cars. But the situation is different from what we saw in 2022: then, Russian military trains were traveling through Belarus, now we are talking only about Belarusian trains," the Belarusian Railway Workers' Community told Euroradio.

A combat readiness check of the Armed Forces of Belarus has been underway in Belarus since February 3, 2025. The community says that another stage of selection of passenger cars by order of the Ministry of Defense began at the end of February. In addition, the Ministry of Defense has submitted applications asking to allocate freight cars for the transportation of military equipment.
