The Ministry of Labour has adopted a new version of the Instruction on the procedure and conditions of assistance in resettling the unemployed and members of their families in connection with moving to another locality.

This is stipulated by the departmental decree, writes tochka.by.

In particular, financial support will be provided to the unemployed when moving to rural areas.

It will be paid in the amount of nine times the minimum subsistence budget per capita, effective on the date of employment.

Thus, from 1 February 2025 it will be Br4028.76.

Implementation of This Mechanism

It provides for:

concluding a tripartite agreement between the labour, employment and social protection authority, the unemployed person and the employer

paying the money and monitoring the fulfilment of contractual obligations.

The document was adopted to attract and retain personnel in rural areas, as well as to provide additional support to those involved in work in rural areas.

The resolution will come into force on 7 February.
