Drone Swarm Attacks Refinery In Samara Region

The Novokuibyshevsk refinery is under attack.

Last night Russians were complaining about a drone attack at an oil refinery in Samara region. This is probably not the first time it has come under attack.

Russian Telegram channels reported hearing the sounds of drones ‘flying over’ and powerful explosions over the town of Novokuibyshevsk at night. Subsequently, bright flashes were seen near the local oil refinery and a loud explosion was heard. The governor of Samara region did not comment on the incident.

As is known, the town is home to the Novokuibyshevsk refinery, which is part of Rosneft.

The enterprise specialises in producing fuel for jet engines, oils for rocket carriers and passenger cars. Its capacity is 8.8 million tonnes of oil per year.
