The Gulfstream G650 plane of US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff has landed in Moscow, Interfax reports, citing aviation services.
The plane departed from Qatar, where Witkoff participated in negotiations between Israel and Hamas on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on March 12.
The day before, on March 11, Witkoff was part of the American delegation that met with the Ukrainian delegation in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Following this meeting, Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire proposed by the US, and in exchange, Washington resumed arms supplies and intelligence exchanges with Kyiv, which had been previously suspended.
In Moscow, Whitkoff plans to hold a meeting on the peace agreement in Ukraine, as stated by White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt. According to Bloomberg, Whitkoff is going to meet with Vladimir Putin.
Meanwhile, Lukashenka is also in Moscow, where he flew to meet with Putin.
