AFU drones have attacked several regions of Russia at once. It is reported about fly-ins in Volgograd, Rostov, Tula, Kursk, Bryansk, Orel, Astrakhan and Nizhny Novgorod regions.
A local Telegram channel in Nizhny Novgorod reported that the ‘Cover’ plan was introduced at Chkalov airport due to the drone threat, two flights were delayed, Nizhny Novgorod - Tashkent and Nizhny Novgorod - Chelyabinsk, and a flight from Sharm el-Sheikh left for a reserve aerodrome.
During the night, UAVs attacked the fuel and energy complex in Astrakhan region.
‘Tonight the AFU again attempted a massive drone attack against facilities located on the territory of the region, including the fuel and energy complex. Shift workers were evacuated in advance. The means of electronic warfare and air defence were working. When the UAV debris fell on the territory of the facility, a fire broke out. The situation was under control, and emergency services specialists began to eliminate the consequences immediately. During the attack, one person was injured. At the moment, the injured person has been taken to hospital,' Astrakhan Region Governor Igor Babushkin wrote on his Telegram channel.
