Evacuation Begins In Belgorod Region Of Russian Federation

The AFU are conducting an offensive.

Almost all residents have been evacuated from Krasnaya Yaruga district of Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, located on the border with Ukraine, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said. According to z-channels, the AFU have been trying to break into this territory since 18 March.

The head of the region stated that the situation ‘continues to be difficult’ and that there is fighting. During Sunday alone, several times the missile danger was announced in Krasnaya Yaruga and neighbouring Rakita districts. Gladkov did not give the number of residents removed. As of 2024, the district was inhabited by 14 thousand people.

The governor pointed out that some citizens were returning to feed the animals and urged them ‘not to risk their lives’.
