Public Transport Fare Increases Across Belarus

The last Belarusian region has raised the price.

Public transport fare in Homel region has become more expensive from 15 April. The corresponding resolution of the Homel Regional Executive Committee published at on the National Legal Internet Portal comes into force immediately after publication.

According to the new tariffs, a single trip on regular and express routes will cost 90 kopecks, while on express routes - 1 ruble.

The cost of travel in suburban transport is increased by 1 kopeck per kilometre. Now the tariffs are: 11 kopecks per kilometre on regular routes, 13 kopecks - on express and additional routes, and 14 kopecks - on express routes.

The prices for travel tickets are also changing. The cost of monthly passes varies from 34.42 to 54.05 rubles - depending on the size of the locality and the number of modes of transport. A half-month pass costs from 18.14 to 28.47 rubles, for 10 days - from 12.06 to 19.02 rubles, and a day pass - from 2.43 to 3.78 rubles.

We remind that earlier public transport fares were raised in all other regions of the country.
