Brent Oil Price Plunges Below $64 Per Barrel

For the first time since April 2021.

The price of June futures for Brent crude oil on the London ICE exchange fell by 2.89% to $63.75 per barrel as of 09:00 Minsk time.

During the night of April 7, futures prices hit a low of $63.01 per barrel. Brent crude is trading below $64 per barrel for the first time since April 14, 2021.

Since the moment U.S. President Donald Trump announced the introduction of import tariffs, the price of a barrel of oil has dropped by more than $11 in absolute terms.
