New limits have been named.
August 4, Belarusbank introduces restrictions on card transactions. This way, the bank wants to prevent fraudsters from withdrawing money from accounts, when they learn information from customers to register their cards in mobile payment applications, writes "Online".
- When withdrawing money using digital details of Belarusbank cards (tokens generated in mobile payment services) in ATMs and cash points, restrictions are introduced: one can get no more than Br600 from the cards "Velvet" and no more than Br1,000 - from other cards of the bank within a day," said Belarusbank.
These limits can be removed by calling the contact center at the number 147 or at the bank branch.
August 4, transactions on Zebra cards, Pupil's Card and cards, issued as part of the complex product "Children's", will be prohibited in trade and service organizations with MSS codes 7995 (gambling) and 9406 (state lotteries).
Another innovation concerns the transfer of funds in yuan from Belarusbank cards: the minimum transfer amount is set at 8 Chinese yuan.
