Geolocation footage shows that the Defense Forces have advanced in the village of Novoekonomichnoye in Donetsk Region. This was reported in a July 17 report by the American Institute for the Study of War.

On July 17, DeepState analysts also informed about the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Pokrovsky direction, namely the occupation of the settlement of Shevchenko and the advance near Zelenoye Polye, Mirny and Peschanoye.

The evening bulletin of the AFU General Staff reported 48 attempts by the enemy to advance in the Pokrovsky direction. The invaders attacked in the areas of Poltavka, Popov Yar, Rodinskoye, Novotoretskoye, Mirolyubovka, Novoekonomicheskoe, Lisovka, Novoukrainka, Zverevo, Udachnoye, Muravka, Alekseevka and in the direction of Pokrovsk and Novopavlovka. Three clashes were still ongoing at the time of publication.

The General Staff also disclosed preliminary losses of the Russian Armed Forces in the Pokrovsk direction over the day:

231 fighters, 130 of them dead;

tank;

three armored combat vehicles;

three vehicles;

three motorcycles;

two guns;

18 drones;

satellite communications terminal;

five UAV control antennas.

A Russian tank, five guns and two motorcycles were also damaged.
