Putin Held Talks With Erdogan

What was discussed.

Russian ruler Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish president's administration said on the social network X.

Erdogan's press service specified that the leaders discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Russia, as well as regional and global issues. Erdogan, in particular, noted the importance of launching the third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine and suggested Istanbul as a platform for dialog.
