For "overpricing" and selling delinquency.
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) announced toughening of liability measures against trade organizations for overpricing and sale of overdue goods. This as reported by the press service of the agency.
The MART on June 1 signed an order on toughening the responsibility of trade for violations of selling expired products, failure to comply with the mandatory list of goods and overpricing.
The ministry said that for such violations will close stores "according to more stringent criteria".
This is due, allegedly, to the increasing number of cases of non-compliance with the requirements of the ministry. In the first half of 2025, more than 1.1 thousand recommendations to eliminate violations were sent, about 230 orders were issued to ban the sale of products, including goods with expired shelf life. More than 350 persons were brought to administrative responsibility.
