From July 1, 2025, a special proceeding against one of the founders and co-owners of Wargaming Group Nikoli Katselapov was opened.

According to the articles (Part 1 and 2 of Art. 361-2 and Part 2 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code), on the basis of which the case against the well-known businessman will be prosecuted, it's about his financing of extremist and terrorist activities.

Nikoli Katselapov is included in the list of "organizations and persons involved in terrorist activities," supervised by the State Security Committee of Belarus since the end of 2022. The businessman was included in the list for "financing of terrorist activities."

Last month, the main owner of Wargaming Group Viktor Kisly was included in the "extremist list" in Russia.
