Drones Massively Attacked Sochi And Adler: An Oil Depot Near The Airport Was Hit

Eyewitnesses report several powerful explosions and a large column of smoke.

On the night of July 24, drones attacked the cities of Sochi and Adler in Russia's Krasnodar region, hitting a local oil depot near Sochi airport, "Focus" reported.

"There was a hit on the oil depot on Tavricheskaya Street. Please refrain from traveling by car and walking in that area," Dmitry Plishkin, head of the administration of the federal territory Sirius, which is also in Krasnodar Krai, wrote.

"Friends, please do not post any (!) photos and videos of the attack, the work of air defense, and the means of defending facilities. This information can be used by the enemy. Take the ban as seriously as possible," Plishkin urged Russians, but they did not listen to him.

The footage published online shows a fire breaking out at the facility. Eyewitnesses report several powerful explosions and a large column of smoke rising into the sky.

The Sochi oil depot of LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt at 1/4 Tavricheskaya Street was hit.

The oil depot is a strategic facility that provides fuel for regional needs. A fire at such an enterprise could have serious consequences for the infrastructure and ecology of the region.

At the same time, the Mash TV channel reported that local residents counted at least seven explosions in the sky above Adler.

"Residents in Sochi have been hearing explosions for an hour and a half. Sirens are sounding in the cities, air defense forces are tentatively working," the report said.

At the same time, Russian publick Baza claims that Russian Sochi is being massively attacked by drones, as a result of which there are already allegedly some dead in the city.
