Zelensky Agreed New Changes In The Ukrainian Defense Ministry

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced personnel changes in the Ministry of Defense and further steps in the security and defense sphere.

He said this during his evening address.

"Just agreed on the renewal of the deputy defense ministers of Ukraine. The team of the Ministry of Defense began very active changes - there are already in a week and additional signed contracts for drones. This is very important," - said Zelensky.

He also said that the audit of agreements with international partners continues. According to him, Ukraine has hundreds of agreements, and all of them must be implemented.

"We discussed together with the Ukrainian Defense Minister and the Office team the issue of financing our defense, our warriors - sustainability we provide," he said.

Zelensky added that the Defense Minister, together with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, reported on the situation. Details, he said, remain non-public, but "some things we will do, strong things."

The president also reported conversations with AFU Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky.

"Spoke with the commander-in-chief today - in the morning and now again. Reports on the front, on our positions, our activity," he noted.

Separately Zelensky noted the importance of the defense of Pokrovsk, calling this direction the most difficult.

"Pokrovsk is our daily attention, and I want to thank every unit that defends this direction - the most difficult direction now," - said the President of Ukraine.
