The fire broke out after a drone attack.

In Russia's Tambov region, the target of a drone attack on July 25 was a gunpowder factory located in Kotovsk. A fire broke out there.

The explosions and fire were reported by the Russians themselves. This enemy military facility has come under UAV attack at least three times this year alone, writes OBOZ.UA.

What is known about the attack

On Friday morning, the Telegram channel Exilenova+ published a video circulated in Russian publicks showing a fire in Kotovsk from afar.

"Local reports say the fire is near or at a gunpowder factory, we're clarifying," a message below the footage read.

Afterward, OSINT analyst worldmilitares confirmed that the footage was real: the plant in Kotovsk was indeed under attack on July 25.

Together, a number of Russian regions were under UAV attack that night. Against its backdrop, the Rosgvardiya introduced the "Cover" plan in eight cities, which provides for restrictions on departing and arriving flights.

Explosions were heard in Krasnodar Krai and Rostov Oblast. In the Stavropol region, drones attacked the Nevinnomyssky Azot plant, which is a major producer of nitrogen fertilizers and ammonia used for the Russian army.
