"Putin Won't Stand A Chance."

The Army general named four effective tools against Russia.

The Russians are mimicking the negotiation process because they are in no mood for real progress toward peace. To put pressure on Putin, serious arguments must be used.

Army general and former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Nikolai Malomuzh told "Channel 24" that it is necessary to interact effectively with both Donald Trump and the Europeans.

4 effective levers of pressure on Putin

Malomuzh noted that, first, there should be strong military support for Ukraine, so that the Defense Forces could receive all kinds of weapons. In particular, through purchases from the United States and European countries, and thanks to its own military-industrial complex. In this way, Ukrainian soldiers will have an advantage on the front.

"This is the first argument that will cover all of Putin's arguments and there will be no balancing in Istanbul on their part," the army general believes.

The second effective argument, he says, will be an operational package of pressure on Putin, his relatives and his entire entourage. This would affect their personal interests and disrupt stability in the so-called Russian elites who support the dictator.

Third, he emphasized, it is necessary to apply economic sanctions against Russia, which Trump has already mentioned. We are talking, in particular, about lowering the price of gas. This will seriously undermine the Russian economy in the near future.

And fourth, according to the army general, there should be a unification of different countries for the sake of peace. In particular, the European Union, the United States can apply sanctions tools against China. Then Beijing will have no choice but to press Russia to save its economy.

"If we unite the United States, Britain, Europe, as well as China and other countries in terms of peace, Putin will have no chance," Malomuzh emphasized.

The former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service added that in complex negotiation processes, Putin will accept only real arguments from Ukraine and our Western partners.
