In Russia, An SU-27UB Aircraft Was Destroyed At The Armavir Military Airfield

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GSD revealed the details.

On the night of July 26, a Su-27UB combat trainer fighter jet was destroyed at the Armavir military airfield in Russia's Krasnodar region, Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate reported.

"An SU-27UB aircraft was destroyed at Armavir in Russia," the GSD said.

They said that on the night of July 25-26, a Russian Armed Forces SU-27UB combat training fighter jet caught fire at the Armavir airfield in the Krasnodar region.

At the same time, according to local residents, there is no communication in the settlements near the airfield.

The Armavir airfield and the planes on it are used mainly for training cadets at the Krasnodar Aviation School.

"Resistance to the Kremlin regime inside Russia is growing," the intelligence agency added.

The Su-27 is a Soviet all-weather supersonic heavy fighter of the fourth generation. The aircraft is designed to gain air superiority, but is also used for missile and bomb attacks against ground targets.

The Su-27 is capable of carrying tactical nuclear warheads. This aircraft is one of the main combat aircraft of the Russian Air Force.
