Hackers Claimed To Have Destroyed Aeroflot's IT System

Belarusian Cyberpartisans had a hand in the attack.

The hacker group Silent Crow claimed to have destroyed the internal IT infrastructure of the Russian airline Aeroflot. The activists noted that they were helped to carry out the attack by "Cyber Partisans". This is stated in a statement by Silent Crow.

"Together with our colleagues from Cyberpartisans BY we declare the successful conduct of a prolonged and large-scale operation, which resulted in the complete compromise and destruction of the internal IT infrastructure of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines," the hackers said."

They added that they had been inside the company's corporate network for a year, "methodically developing access, going deep into the very core of the infrastructure."
