Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has seriously miscalculated in his attitude towards US President Donald Trump.

U.S. Republican Party Senator Lindsey Graham wrote this on social network X.

Graham said he fully understands Trump's frustration over Russia's constant attacks on Ukraine, which shows that there is no real desire to come to the peace talks table.

"Putin has seriously miscalculated with President Trump. I hope that countries like China, India and Brazil that support Putin's war machine will soon pay a long overdue price," the senator said.

He added that the U.S. Congress, which is overwhelmingly bipartisan, stands ready to help "Trump in his efforts to bring the parties to peace talks."
