Zelensky Signed Two Important Laws

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has announced the signing of important legislation that strengthens the Security Service of Ukraine and ensures social justice for Ukrainian prisoners of war.

"Today I have signed a law that expands the powers of the SBU for more effective fulfillment of combat tasks. In particular, we are talking about increasing the number of personnel, primarily in the Special Operations Center "A" - one of the most effective combat units of the Service," the Ukrainian president said.

In addition, Zelensky signed a law that regulates the social and financial protection of Ukrainian military prisoners of war. According to the president, this document restores justice and guarantees that the defenders of Ukraine who were in enemy captivity will have the same financial rights as all other servicemen.

"We discussed this law both with relatives of the captives and with those soldiers who have already returned home. Now they will have the necessary financial guarantees," Zelensky emphasized.
