Several Towns In Northern Poland Have Been Flooded

Because of the intense rainfall.

Intense rainfall has flooded several areas in northern Poland.

According to RMF24.

On Monday evening, streets in the towns of Tolkmicko and Suhacz on the shores of the Vistula Lagoon near Gdansk were flooded.

In Tolkmicko, the local river Stradanka overflowed its banks, with water flooding the streets and entering the premises of stores and cafes on the lower floors.

Fire and Rescue crews help pump out water.

Almost 3,000 weather relief missions were carried out across the country.

In the previous 24 hours, flooding affected a number of towns in southwestern Poland, as well as Romanian Bukovina.
