In response to the 10-day ultimatum, Putin launched a targeted, concentrated strike on the Ukrainian capital.

Thirty-nine kamikaze drone/bait Shahed-136/"Gerbera"/"Parody" drones and eight Iskander-K cruise missiles were used.

The missile strike was particularly sneaky. Five Iskander-K missiles, which broke through an echelon of air defense, hit a multi-story apartment building. Five missiles targeted the apartment building.
