The AFU General Staff Confirmed The Defeat Of The Saratov Oil Refinery

Explosions and fires have been recorded.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed in Telegram the attack on Russia's Saratov oil refinery on the night of August 10.

"Tonight the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the defense forces, struck the Saratov oil refinery," the General Staff informed.

The UAV hit resulted in explosions and fire on the territory of the enterprise. The military emphasized that they continue to take measures to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation in order to force it to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine.

"The Saratov oil refinery is one of the key fuel infrastructure facilities of the Russian Federation involved in supplying the occupation troops with oil products. Its annual refining capacity is up to 7 million tons of oil. [...] Each affected facility on the territory of the Russian Federation involved in providing its criminal war against Ukraine brings us closer to a just peace," the AFU said.
