Warsaw Police Detained 109 People At Max Korz's Concert

Warsaw police reported on their work at the concert of Belarusian rapper Max Korzh at the National Stadium in the Polish capital. More than a hundred people were detained, many receiving fines.
The first detentions took place back on August 8, the day before the concert. Korzha's fans threw a party on Ordona Street in the Wola neighborhood. Local residents complained about the noise at night and called the police. As a result, 9 people were detained, 25 received fines. The organizer of the party may be charged with illegal mass event. Police are checking the content of the contract between the event organizer and the owner of the rented plot.
On August 9 Korzh's concert itself, which drew more than 60,000 spectators, law enforcers detained 109 people for numerous offenses and crimes. Among them - drug possession, assault on security personnel, possession and carrying pyrotechnics, as well as illegal entry into the stadium.
Police fined 50 people for a total of 11,450 zlotys ($3,135), 38 applications for prosecution were sent to the court. Recall, some fans of the Belarusian singer tried to break through from the stands to the dance floor, because of which the concert was almost canceled.
