In the last five years.

The publication MOST analyzed the data on the five-year dynamics of the number of Belarusians living in Poland.

It turned out that by the middle of 2025, 145,205 Belarusians legally reside in Poland, although on January 1, 2020, 28,745 citizens of Belarus lived in the country. The number of Belarusians in Poland has been growing annually for five years.

More than 90 thousand Belarusians are in Poland with temporary residence permits - this is the largest group of Belarusians among those with valid documents. For comparison, in 2020 there were 8.5 thousand such Belarusians in the country.

There is also a sharp increase in the number of Belarusians who are in Poland on international protection and humanitarian grounds - from 165 people in 2020 to 10,912 people in 2025. The jump occurred after 2022, when Poland began to issue subsidiary protection to Belarusian citizens more often.
