The aggressor country Russia wants to end the war in Ukraine by 2026. Major General Major General Vadim Skibitsky, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, said this in an interview with "Suspilny".
According to him, Russia's strategic documents clearly state that "the Ukrainian issue should be resolved by 2026."
Skibitsky explained that such an ambitious goal is due to a number of serious problems in Russia.
"Economic expenditures now account for 42 percent of the country's budget and lead to stagnation of key industries such as metallurgy and mining," the GSD spokesman said.
