NASA Satellites Showed A Fire At The Largest Station Of The Druzhba Oil Pipeline

This is a tangible loss for the RF.

A NASA satellite photo showed the consequences of the strike on the Russian Federation, which affected the main oil pumping station "Unecha" in the Bryansk region. The station is the main hub of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which delivers raw materials to Russian ports on the Baltic Sea, writes

"Focus".

In the area of the Unecha oil pumping station near Bryansk, satellites have recorded three areas where a fire is burning, NASA data show. One of these burning spots is located on the territory of the main hub of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which pumps Russian oil for export.

Infographics with data on the fire in Unecha appeared on the morning of August 13, after local residents complained of explosions and fire outbreaks. Flashes on the GNPS were noticed, in particular, at 2:07 h. In addition, fires were noticed to the east and west of the important RF facility. The coordinates of the main hub are 52.76599, 32.93499, and the surface temperature is bright 330 (temperature in Kelvin), or about 57 degrees Celsius, which is well above the acceptable norm.

Meanwhile, Focus wrote about the importance of the Unecha main hub in the Bryansk region. The junction is part of the Druzhba pipeline, which carries Russian oil to oil terminals at the port of Ust-Luga near St. Petersburg on the Baltic Sea. In 2023, 650,000 barrels of crude oil passed through the port daily, accounting for 20 percent of all crude exports, according to Bloomberg. The forecast for 2025 is 725,000 barrels, the media outlet found out.
