Belarusian Combine Harvesters Were Cheated

Such small payouts have never happened before.

Officials of the district executive committees of Homel region went to the fields to be seen at the traditional "battle for the harvest" and congratulate the first combine harvesters, who threshed more than 1 thousand tons of grain, as well as drivers-"thousandth-workers".

Official reports say about awarding diplomas, household appliances and cash certificates to the front-runners of the harvest, but nowhere the amount of the prize is mentioned. But it was noticed "Flagstaff" on some photos.

Such a small amount has never been seen before - perhaps that's why the newspapers of district executive committees modestly kept silent about it. Officials handed "millennials" certificates for only 50 rubles, as seen in the photo from Chechersk district.

In other regions of Belarus, the amounts are noticeably higher - from Br100 to Br200, just like last year. For example, in Kletsky district of Minsk voblast in 2024, the front-runners were presented with certificates in the amount of Br200.

As for the household appliances presented to the front-runners of the harvest in Gomel voblast, they are not LCD TVs at all, as in some other regions. Some photos show that "millennials" in Homel voblast received irons, blenders, and some - multicookers.
