Trump And European Leaders Will Talk On 'secret Floor'

German authorities have taken record security measures because of the threat of wiretapping.

For U.S. President Donald Trump's video conference with European heads of government in the Chancellery, record security measures have been set up in Berlin, Bild reports.

The main purpose is to prevent possible eavesdropping attempts, particularly by Russian intelligence services.

The fourth floor of the Federal Chancellor's Office is considered "secret" and this is where the "situation center" is located. It is a windowless room, specially protected from "bugs".

All participants are connected through monitors in a strictly equipped conference room.

According to the publication, even interpreters are not allowed to be in the center - all conversations are conducted in English.

It is noted that only close advisers of Chancellor Friedrich Merz and President Vladimir Zelensky are present, and cell phones of the participants remain outside the room, in a special "noise-receiver".

There the devices are neutralized with artificial noise so that even switched off phones cannot be used for eavesdropping.

Each of the leaders participates from a secure room in his office, which helps to guarantee the maximum level of confidentiality and security of the talks.
