Warsaw will not resume the dialog.
Poland's Foreign Ministry has reacted to a note from the Belarusian Defense Ministry on resuming dialogue on security and stability in the region, RMF24 reports.
The letter was sent in June by the Belarusian Defense Ministry. In it, Minsk warned that the lack of negotiations could lead to a "new war in Europe," with Belarus and Poland becoming the arena. Warsaw's response was categorical.
First of all, the Foreign Ministry writes, hybrid actions hostile to Poland have been carried out from the territory of Belarus and using its services for four years. A vivid manifestation of this is the situation on the border.
In addition, the report says, Belarus has supported Russia's illegal actions against Ukraine and provided its territory for actions that violate international law. As a result of these actions, civilians are killed and civilian infrastructure is destroyed.
In its response, the ministry notes that military cooperation between states requires observance of a certain minimum of rules within the framework of international relations to be able to build mutual trust.
"In the current situation, we see no space for negotiations, let alone actions in this direction," the Foreign Ministry said.
