Trump Will Call Zelensky After Meeting With Putin

US and Ukraine to determine next steps after meeting in Alaska.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said he will call his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump after his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15, RBC Ukraine writes.

"Trump suggested to me that after the meeting in Alaska, he will call me and we will determine the next steps," Zelensky said, speaking to reporters in Berlin.

Trump held an online meeting with the Ukrainian president and the leaders of European countries - Germany, Finland, France, Britain, Italy, Poland and the EU - on August 13. Trump called the conversation "good."
