Panic Started In Tatarstan Because Of A Training Drone Launch

Russians fear a repeat of the Web.

Several people have been detained in Russia's Tatarstan. They are suspected of launching drones.

This is reported by "Kommersant".

In particular, on August 13, information about unknown people who launched a drone in a field on the territory of the republic appeared in social networks. It was assumed that they could be saboteurs.

They were spotted by local residents and called the police, after which they were all detained by law enforcers.

According to Telegram channel Baza, the detainees turned out to be cadets of a military school, and the incident was the result of uncoordinated actions of the military and police.

"They were launching one of the Russian drone models quite officially: the guys are studying to be UAV operators," the channel writes.

According to a source from Kommersant Volga-Ural, the site where the incident occurred was the site of a planned exercise.

Kommersant, in turn, writes that a source in the security services denied the information that it was saboteurs.
