But only under the right conditions.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, believes that countries that have joined the Coalition of the willing should be ready to send their armed forces to ensure security in Ukraine. He said that Lithuania is ready to contribute.

This was reported by LRT with reference to Nauseda's statement.

"We should be ready to deploy forces to ensure security in Ukraine as soon as the appropriate conditions are created for this," he said.

Nauseda said Lithuania is ready to contribute by providing soldiers and resources to train the joint force.

He emphasized that Russia's war against Ukraine, which has lasted for four years, has a serious impact on security in Europe.

The Lithuanian president emphasized that efforts to end hostilities should take place only on terms favorable to Ukraine and Europe, and any negotiations cannot take place without the participation of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

The Lithuanian leader noted that it is impossible to demand that Ukraine surrender its territories, such a demand cannot be a precondition for a ceasefire.

"A comprehensive ceasefire without preconditions is the most important condition before any real negotiations," Nauseda said.
