It Has Become Known How Putin Plans To Lie To Trump About Ukraine

The dictator is bringing geographical maps with him to the summit.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin plans to use geographic maps during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump to advance a propaganda thesis about the alleged "artificiality" of Ukraine.

The Center for Countering Disinformation reports this.

The Center has learned from the Defense Forces that the Russian dictator is preparing certain "historical materials" for a meeting with Trump.

These are geographical maps, which, according to Putin's plan, should prove to Trump that Ukraine is supposedly an "artificial state" that was formed at the expense of other countries' territories.

This is supposedly to justify the Kremlin's military aggression against Ukraine and Russia's claims to Ukrainian territories.

These pseudo-historical speculations are typical Russian propaganda techniques that Putin himself has repeatedly resorted to in public speeches.

In general, such an approach is unacceptable from the point of view of international law, which clearly enshrines the principles of territorial inviolability, inviolability of borders and illegality of the use of force or threat of force.

"Most modern countries or parts of them were part of other states in the past. This also applies to the present-day Russian Federation, which was once part of the Golden Horde, and many of the present-day territories of the Russian Federation in the past belonged to other states - Germany, Sweden, Finland," the CPA noted.

But no historical facts, much less pseudo-historical fantasies, can be the basis for territorial encroachments and do not justify armed aggression against other countries.
