The President of the United States leaves for Anchorage at 1:45 p.m. today.
The tentative schedule of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the summit in the city of Anchorage has become known.
This is reported by Reuters.
According to the White House press schedule, US President Donald Trump will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday at 11:00 local time (22:00 Minsk time) in Anchorage.
Trump will depart the White House at 6:45 East American time (13:45 Minsk time) on Friday and leave Anchorage at 17:45 (04:45 Saturday Minsk time) local time on the same day.
Return to the White House is scheduled for Saturday morning, August 16.
Trump and Putin Summit in Alaska
Today, August 15, U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will hold a summit in Anchorage, Alaska.
At the meeting, the leaders will discuss basic options for a ceasefire and ending the war in Ukraine.
If the talks are successful, a trilateral meeting involving Trump, Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is planned by the end of next week. The leaders will discuss options for ending the war in more detail.
If today's talks fail, Trump said he is ready to impose new sanctions against Russia.
