Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has arrived on a regional visit to Magadan. After the stopover, he will travel to Alaska to attend a summit with US President Donald Trump.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Russian media.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said that the Russian president will visit the industrial enterprise and meet with Magadan Region Governor Sergey Nosov.
"Heading to the northeast, Putin has never missed an opportunity to engage in regional affairs, and that's what he did this time," Peskov said.
After his visit to the region, the Kremlin chief will travel to Alaska to attend a summit with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Delegates and media have already arrived
In the meantime, according to Flightradar24 service, an Il-96-300 aircraft of the Rossiya special flight unit arrived at Anchorage airport in Alaska from Vnukovo airport.
Russian media specified that the flight carried journalists of the Kremlin pool.
Afterwards, another Il-96-300 from Vnukovo arrived in Anchorage. According to reports in the Russian media, the flight is believed to have brought Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador to the United States Alexander Darchiev to a meeting.
