There's a huge queue to get into Poland.
A huge queue of cars and buses lined up at the exit from Belarus to Poland. This is evidenced by the monitoring data of the State Border Committee and messages of Belarusians in chat rooms on border crossing, writes "Zerkalo".
According to the State Border Committee at 10.August 15, 1,650 cars and 80 buses are waiting to enter Poland.
"Since Monday, the accumulation of passenger cars in front of the Polish border crossing point "Terespol" (from the Belarusian side - "Brest" - Editor's note) has increased by 1,180 units. There are 3,650 cars and 80 buses waiting to enter Poland," commented in the press service of the State Border Committee.
In the chats on border crossing in the morning on August 15, some users complained about the very slow movement in the queue, while others said that "everything stands in the Polish direction.
"I would like to understand why for 14 hours the bus has moved 300 meters," - asked a rhetorical question subscriber Olga on the morning of August 15.
Another user wrote that on August 14 at 22.00 he was 262nd in the queue, and at 10.58 on August 15 he was 213:
"The traffic is just pi***tz".
"At 7.00 I was 214, now (at 10.54 - Editor's note) 211 in the queue. It turns out that there is movement," shared Ivan.
"The operator from Beltamozhservice said that 50 cars [Poles] passed through overnight. The bridge (over the Bug River, separating Belarus and Poland - Editor's note) is now fully standing," wrote Alyona in the chat.
"Last night there was a breakthrough of the border. The whole guard (Polish Border Guard Service - Editor's note) is standing on its ears," - wrote in the border chat room user Andrei.
It should be noted that the official agencies of Poland did not report any information about any border breakthrough on the night of August 14-15.
In the morning of August 15, according to the portal granica.gov.pl, the waiting time to cross the border from Poland to Belarus was two hours.
The queues are also observed in the Lithuanian direction. Here, a total of 270 cars are idle (170 - in "Kamenny Loh" and 100 - in "Beniakoni"). At the only checkpoint on the border with Latvia - "Grigorovshchina" - there are no traffic jams.
